Tastes great and goes great in my muesli but the best part is - no additives!
Has fairly neutral taste and works ok as protein powder to make a shake with but precisely because it's not full of extra nonsense it doesn't shake into protein shake so well stays a little lumpy.
This protein blend comes in a resealable pouch and is in the form of a fine, pale coloured powder. It is vegan, organic, ethically and responsibly sourced, non-GMO, gluten and dairy free so it ticks a lot of boxes including some that had not even occurred to me. It is a simple mixture of three different vegetable proteins (pea, rice and hemp) with no artificial flavouring. I tried adding some to a mild flavoured porridge. It mixed in well. The combined flavour ended up just being even milder than before, and I could not make out any discernible flavour from the protein blend in this mix. I would be confident in adding this to stronger flavoured foods such as smoothies or milk shakes without effecting the flavour. This is a handy and versatile vegan protein supplement.
I can’t tolerate whey protein, and I prefer to avoid artificial sweeteners and flavours, so I decided to try this. I like making a baked oat/porridge, which I make as a tray bake, then portion out and freeze for portable high-protein breakfasts. I usually add nuts and dried fruit, and I mix it up so some weeks it’s a little sweet and others it’s a little more savoury. This is an effective way to get some extra protein into these, and it means I don’t have to use quite so many eggs. The slightly earthy taste is absolutely fine in this usage, and it’s reasonably versatile (whether I make a savoury or sweet protein bake). I’m not sure I’d like it in a smoothie, though, and it’s possible it would be too much if I tried to make it my only source of protein in the recipe. I’m glad it’s natural and vegan, and I expect I’ll buy more when I finish this bag.
Plant based milks are so expensive per carton, and heavy to have delivered or carry back from the shops. Because they are mainly full of water, it’s not good for the environment to be shipping around these cartons when you could be using a powdered alternative that takes up a fraction of the transport space. I’ve heard of pea protein milk, I’ve heard of rice milk, and I’ve heard of hemp milk. Therefore, I thought it’s got to be worth seeing if this NaturaleBio vegan protein blend would make a suitable plant-based milk alternative that I could make myself at home, just like a plant-based milk powder. I add a level tablespoon of this protein powder per 100ml of water, so 10 tablespoons for a litre of milk. After blending with water in a high speed blender, it did look just like a commercial plant-based milk you would get in a carton. The flavour was acceptable, but at was a bit thin and gritty, so it needed a bit of tweaking to give an authentic shop bought carton vibe. I regularly buy no sugar versions of plant-based milks. The amount of carbs that are sugars in this powder blend are very low indeed, so if you like a slightly sweeter milk, feel free to add a bit of sugar or maple syrup, etc. A small pinch of natural sea salt also seems to enhance the flavour. The addition of just 1/4 of a teaspoon of xanthan gum makes a big difference to the thickening and emulsifying of your ingredients, but you also need a bit of fat. I use a tablespoon of sunflower seeds, but you could use coconut oil, rapeseed oil, hemp hearts, whole nuts, or a nut butter of your choice. After blending everything up really well, straining the milk through a nut milk bag will give you your very own smooth drinkable plant-based milk alternative. It will keep in the fridge for 2 or 3 days. The only 3 ingredients contained in this powder are 50% pea protein, 35% rice protein and 15% hemp protein, all of which have been organically produced. This vegan protein powder is very versatile, as you don’t have to use it to make plant-based milk. You can simply add spoonfuls to smoothies, overnight oats, sauces, soups, health bars, and all sorts of baking and cooking to increase your protein intake. It comes in a resealable foil pouch to keep it fresh, and had a long use by date of over a year on the pack I received. I’ve always loved experimenting with different food and ingredients, so I’m really happy with this product. I ordered the larger 950g pack, and even if I only used it to make my own plant based milk, there should be enough in this pack to make at least 10-12 litres of high protein organic milk alternative. This powder contains 78g of protein per 100g, so it’s great value for money compared to the cost of 100g of other vegan protein sources.

Prodotto di ottima qualità e discreto sapore.
Senza adottivi, dolcificanti o aromi.
ottimo prodotto
