However, it has a smoother texture compared to other powders that claim to be ceremonial. I believe it would work better as an ingredient than as a drink. The Battery Powered Hand Frother: It is good at quickly whisking matcha into water and leaves very few clumps (there may not even be any clumps if you sift your matcha beforehand which I am unable to do). I believe it would work well whisking up other powders like hojicha, wakocha, chocolate, etc. However, it does not come with a storage box or batteries so you would have to source those yourself. The Bamboo Scoop: Holds matcha well. Small and easily transportable. Conclusion: The electric Matcha Frother is very convenient, fast and easy to use, producing a nice frothy consistency in less than a minute. The bamboo scoop is the traditional item used for measuring the Matcha powder into the cup. I found the scoop held the power well and was surprisingly easy to use. The quality of the Matcha Powder is not really the best for drinking, but gives an initial insight of what to expect from this kit and other types can be obtained for experiment. The Naturalebio Milk frother is exactly what I needed to mix in some more flavours into my matcha. For reference, I really like matcha, and I already use NaturaleBio's matcha powder, so I naturally thought of getting their milk frother. This is exactly what I needed to mix Pistacio creme with Strawberry syrup and milk to make the ultimate flavour (for me at least) and it did so perfectly, making my matcha taste the best it has tasted. The frother is a nice, sleek and full metal design, and is fast and powerful enough for my needs. It looks strong enough to last a long time, but only time will tell. It's also very easy to use, once you've found 2 AAA batteries, as they are not supplied. Just click and watch it do it's thing. Overall, I think it does the job really well. However there are a few things to note. The Frother requires 2x AAA batteries, which are not supplied. Luckily for me, I usually have plenty of rechargeable AAA and AA batteries lying about, as I think that's practical. Also, at the price point of £14.99, there are better alternatives at a similar price, or cheaper that have a built in rechargeable battery and a stand/case supplied with it.

The frother itself is lightweight and easy to use, though it does require two AAA batteries which are not included. It performs well for Matcha, coffee and other drinks and the bamboo spoon is a simple but attractive addition. The Matcha powder is perfectly drinkable, though in my experience it’s comparable to other blends rather than anything particularly distinctive. Where this set stands out is presentation. The components are straightforward and could be purchased individually for less, but the cohesive packaging and ready to gift layout make it ideal for someone who appreciates a well presented Matcha experience. As a special gift, it works very well; as a practical purchase, the price is mainly justified by the premium packaging rather than the items themselves.

It mixes really well, and the electric frother makes it quick and effortless to get a nice creamy finish without any clumps. The little bamboo scoop is a nice touch and makes measuring out the right amount easy. Everything feels well put together, and the presentation is great too, so it would make a lovely gift. Overall, this is an easy way to get into making matcha at home, this set has everything you need.
