Set Matcha Elettrico

This little frother has ended up being used far more often than I expected. Although it's marketed towards matcha, I've been using it for coffee, hot chocolate and protein shakes as well. It starts quickly and creates a good amount of mixing power for such a compact device. Matcha powder dissolves much more evenly than when stirred with a spoon, leaving far fewer clumps behind, and it also does a good job of creating a light layer of foam on coffee. The handle feels comfortable to hold and the overall design is straightforward with nothing complicated to learn. Cleaning is easy too, as a quick rinse under warm water is usually enough after use. It isn't intended for very thick mixtures, so it's best suited to drinks rather than anything particularly dense, but for everyday hot and cold drinks it works efficiently and saves a surprising amount of effort.

I got this mainly for making matcha, although I’ve found myself using it for quite a few other drinks as well. It has enough power to get powders mixed in quickly and it also does a good job of frothing milk. There’s nothing complicated about it. Press the button and it starts, press it again and it stops. The whisk spins smoothly and gets a decent swirl going in the cup, so it doesn’t take long to get the result I want. I like the long, narrow shape too. It’s comfortable to use and doesn’t take up much space when it’s put away. The body has a nice finish and feels like it should last quite a while. It runs on two AAA batteries, which aren’t included. At this price I would probably have expected it to be rechargeable, but I don’t mind batteries too much as they can be swapped out straight away when they go flat. Cleaning is quick. I just rinse the whisk after using it and that’s usually enough. At £14.99 I think it’s a little expensive for such a simple frother, which is where it loses a star for me. It performs well though, and I’ve ended up using it for more than I originally expected.

The whisk works really well, and is easy to clean - we've used it for making hot chocolate as well. The measure scoop thing makes it easy to get the right amount out of the packet, but we actually transferred the matcha powder into a jar we had. The actual matcha is nice and bright green in colour, and apparently looks and tastes just right! She likes to add a bit of syrup to the end result, and makes it with oat milk as she prefers the flavour. Good value for the basics to get you started. The matcha powder seems to go a long way!

milk frother / .My wife and I has really got into some of these Japanese matcha teas, so I decided this NaturaleBio electric matcha frother would be ideal, and I like the look of its compact metal design. This comes presented as a nicely boxed matcha kit. Supplied is the electric frother, a bamboo spoon and 100g of premium matcha tea, great for getting started. The frother requires 2 AAA batteries, which personally I prefer to rechargeable as this gives the product longevity. In operation the frother is quiet but powerful, I have been using it for a few weeks with my first set of AAA batteries with no drop in power. Overall, the frother is really well made and should last many years. And the 100g of premium matcha green tea to get you started has a lovely flavour. Personally, I think this kit is good value.
