Taste and texture of Hagenbutten
Taste and texture of Hagenbutten
The rose hips, the rose hips or "hagenbutten", from which our powder is obtained, come from organic farming.
Rosehip is a red berry with a fleshy consistency. It is edible but sour and not very appetizing fresh, in fact, it is difficult to find it on the market as is, while it is now widespread on the market in the form of supplements and powder.
Our organic rose hips have a dark ochre colour , thanks to a balanced ratio between the peel, pulp and seeds of the berries, typical of when the whole berry is ground, and are therefore more nutritious.
On the contrary, when the color is more yellow it means that there is a higher percentage of seeds inside the powder.
The taste of rosehip powder is slightly sour (similar to citrus) and fruity. The processing method is very important: NaturaleBio rosehip is processed at low temperatures to preserve all its nutrients intact and maintain high levels of Vitamin C.
