A creamy and refreshing ice cream, excellent to end a lunch or dinner and with its intense colour will leave everyone speechless.
The Matcha Tea Ice Cream is one of the most popular flavours in Japan, but in Europe it is still not well known, the recipe is very simple and above all there will be no need for the ice cream maker.
Preparation time: ~20 min
Serves for 2 people
In a large bowl, mix the milk together with the sugar and Matcha green tea powder until you obtain a smooth mixture. Add the cream that you have previously whipped until stiff. Slowly mix everything together. Blend the mixture with an immersion blender. Place the mixture in a container and leave to cool in the fridge for a few hours. Place in the freezer for at least 3 hours.
It is advisable to take out the Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream a few minutes before serving it.
Excellent accompanied by fresh fruit or a nice biscuit wafer.
Using an ice cream maker is not essential, even if it is very useful.
If you have an ice cream maker, all you have to do is follow its instructions.
A quality Matcha green tea has decidedly high costs so it is recommended to use the culinary grade for recipes or a Premium grade for a more intense flavour.
It is important to choose a 100% organic, natural and pure product without the use of fertilizers, pesticides and other chemical substances.
