Healthy snack for children: banana and cocoa mousse recipe

Do you want to prepare a healthy snack for children, homemade, quick and with just a few ingredients that we all have in our pantry? We recommend a fresh and delicious banana and cocoa mousse!

This quick and easy recipe is ideal for those children (but also adults) who need a sweet help to eat more fruit. In fact, not only is it easy to prepare, but also very tasty and suitable for the most difficult palates.

Preparation takes little time, even if you have already frozen the bananas in the freezer. It is ideal as a breakfast, snack or dessert.

Ingredients (2 servings)

  • 300 g of bananas (about 3 bananas)
  • 100 ml of vegetable milk
  • 10g cocoa powder
  • Cocoa nibs to taste

Procedure

  • Cut the bananas into small pieces and leave them to rest in the freezer for 3, maximum 4 hours.
  • Let the banana pieces thaw for a few minutes, then with an immersion blender or blender, blend the bananas and slowly add the vegetable milk.
  • When the consistency is creamy enough for your taste, pour the mousse into a bowl and add the cocoa powder as a decoration, or mix it with the cream.
  • Add a handful of cocoa nibs to decorate and give a crunchy touch!

Delicious to enjoy as is, by the spoonful, but also spread on toast and toast, as a healthy alternative to spreads. Maybe decorated with other fresh fruit to create nice "smile-toasts"!
