Simple care, done regularly

Skin & Hair Nourishment Ritual

This ritual is an invitation to slow down and care for the body in a way that feels intentional rather than corrective. Less about fixing, more about maintaining balance; inside and out.

The Intention

To move from rest to wakefulness without stress.

To nourish the body with warmth and simplicity.

To begin the day feeling steady rather than scattered.

The Ritual

1. Nourish from within, consistently

Healthy skin and hair are supported first from the inside. Regular meals that include healthy fats, antioxidants, and enough hydration help build a strong foundation over time. Simple choices — like using olive oil or coconut oil in meals, adding açaí to smoothies or breakfast bowls, or enjoying matcha or cacao as part of your day — support nourishment without needing complexity.
This step isn’t about changing everything at once. It’s about consistency and choosing foods that help the body feel supported, hydrated, and balanced over time.

2. Care through touch: hair, face, and body

Once or twice a week, create space for gentle external care.
For hair, warm a small amount of coconut oil between your hands and massage it slowly into the scalp using circular movements. Work any remaining oil through the lengths of the hair, especially the ends. Leave it on for at least 20 minutes (or longer if you like) then wash gently. This supports scalp comfort and keeps hair feeling soft and nourished.

For skin, apply a few drops of oil to slightly damp skin after cleansing. Massage slowly, using upward movements on the face and long, steady strokes on the arms and legs, from the extremities (hands and feet) towards the center of the body (heart). Move at a pace that feels calming. This kind of touch supports circulation and helps maintain the skin barrier while creating a moment of presence.

3. Offer extra care when the skin asks for it

Some days call for something very simple, others for a little extra support.

When you want an easy, nourishing treatment, a simple mask made with cacao powder, yogurt or a plant-based alternative, and a few drops of coconut oil works well. Apply to clean skin, leave on for about ten minutes, then rinse with warm water.

When the skin feels dry, sensitive, or unbalanced, Manuka honey (lower MGO is perfectly fine) can be used on its own as a soothing treatment. Apply a thin layer to slightly damp skin, leave on for 10–15 minutes, then rinse gently. For extra softness, it can be mixed with a little yogurt or oil.
You can also use culinary matcha mixed with yogurt, honey, or oil to create a simple antioxidant-rich face mask.
