Chocolate and Pear Cake with Coconut Oil It is a recipe that combines the sweetness of pears and the intense and decisive flavour of dark chocolate.
They say “Don’t let the farmer know how good cheese is with pears”, but pears also go very well with chocolate!
It's really a delicious combination which gives the palate an incredible experience.
Coconut Oil gives to the Chocolate and Pear Cake a wonderful texture, making it soft and with a mouth-watering coconut flavor.
Preparation time: ~65 min
Finely chop the dark chocolate. Beat the sugar with the eggs in a bowl. Add the coconut oil, yogurt, milk and vanilla and continue mixing. Add the chocolate and finally the sifted flour, yeast and a pinch of salt, continuing to mix until the mixture is smooth and without lumps. Peel the pears and remove the core. Pour half of the mixture into a cake pan previously greased with coconut oil or use silicone ones. Cut one pear into pieces and distribute it on the dough. Pour the remaining dough and decorate it with the other pear (I cut it into slices and distribute them like petals from the center of the cake) Bake in a static oven at 160 ° for about 50 minutes. Sprinkle with icing sugar or decorate with chocolate chips as I did!
It is possible to prepare this dessert also using the Bimby , the kitchen robot useful in many preparations.
